Lake Nona is set to be Orlando’s next up and coming area!
With the UCF Burnette School of Biomedical Sciences / Medical School, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando, The Burnham Institute, Nemours Children’s Hospital as well as the Veterans Hospital, Lake Nona is potentially set to be a tourist attraction area. It is anticipated that medical speakers, additional training facilities, and medical conferences will be destined for the Lake Nona area in the near future. Lake Nona is composed of basically 3 major areas. 1. Lake Nona & the Lake Nona Country Club
2. Moss Park
3. Eagle Creek (south of Toll Road 417)
The Lake Nona community has several neighborhoods or smaller communities that either feed off each other or are adjacent to each other.
Waters Edge, a gated community is one of the first communities you find just on the North Side of the Lake Nona Area.
NorthLake Park on the west side of Narcoossee is a 500 acre community which includes the NorthLake School & YMCA as well as great areas for family fun, such as the parks & dog park.
Village Walk at Lake Nona was designed to be a resort or second home style community located on the south side of Lake Nona likely to be nearest to the medical city which will be minutes away.
The Lake Nona Golf and Country Club, is a luxury real estate locale, centered around the championship golf course designed by Tom Fazio and complimented by a fitness center, racquetball courts, community pool and spa facilities. With 600 plus acres of luxury homes and amenities, it is hard to believe those looking for comfort and style will not be afforded the bliss this community offers.
The Moss Park community lies to the east of what is known as Lake Nona. Down Moss Park Road, now with established access to the 417, this area will continue to grow and impress with new commercial opportunities as well as beautiful neighborhoods.
