Lake George Elementary School History and Information: Lake George Elementary School is located in South Orange County, outside the city limits of Orlando in the Conway community. The school opened in August, 1998. All students live within 2 miles creating a strong neighborhood school community. We pride ourselves in providing a quality education for all students and embracing the needs of our diverse student population.  We are proud to have been rated an “A” school each year since 2004.  Our motto is “we stretch for excellence.” All students are provided a comprehensive elementary school program that stresses the development of the whole child. The school offers an integrated curriculum with an emphasis on reading, writing, math, science, social studies, technology, physical fitness and the Arts. Character Education and Bully Prevention programs focus on building positive learning communities. All classrooms have student computers and interactive whiteboards.  Lake George strives to offer its students a progressive and comprehensive education to prepare them to meet the challenges of life in the twenty-first century. Our very active PTA sponsors numerous family and student activities throughout the year including skate nights, Bingo and Movie nights, the Annual Talent Show, science programs and school carnival. We love our school volunteers and encourage your involvement in our day to day activities. We also sponsor Cub Scout Pack 283, which meets weekly in our school cafeteria.
